Conquering Mountains
After my son Bryson was profoundly brain-injured at 8 months old through his vaccinations, it was predicted he’d never walk or speak. He walked at 10 years old after countless thousands of hours of torturous, repetitious work. But just as in your life, there were always more mountains to climb. This video shows my courageous son at 12 years old son learning to climb stairs.

The book about my family story, All the King’s Horses – Finding Purpose and Hope in Brokenness and Impossibility, will encourage you to persevere in the face of your own “impossible” battles: Below is an excerpt from the book:
“Perhaps you are facing a mountain right now that you know you can’t climb … an “impossible” battle is looming squarely in front of you, and you’re afraid to move forward. Based on my experience, the battle God has set before you may turn out to be even harder than you now realize … Now is not the time to deny the realities of war, or to sugarcoat them. Now is the time to remember that when the battle proves to be too hard for you, it is still no challenge for God.”
