If God Was Really Loving and Good!

IF GOD WAS REALLY LOVING AND GOOD:

There is so much beauty in the world, but most would agree that this world is an utter mess, fraught with hatred and war and abuse and murder and prejudice and rape (these evils just scratch the surface). Even if we sugarcoat it, the reality is there are 7 Billion people who are right now dying on this planet.

If God was really loving and good, how would He respond to a world full of children who were sinful, poor in character, and dying ... children who have proven over and over that we will make a royal mess of our lives, and of this world? Would He be tempted to just crumple it up and toss it, and start again?

I WONDER WHAT HE WOULD DO …

“But He (Jesus) was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, And by His scourging we are healed. All of us like sheep have gone astray, Each of us has turned to his own way; But the Lord has caused the iniquity of us all To fall on Him.” Isaiah 53:5-6

“He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him” 2 Corinthians 5:21

“For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich.” 2 Corinthians 8:9

“And He (the risen Christ) said to them, “O foolish men and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken! Was it not necessary for the Christ to suffer these things and to enter into His glory?” Luke 24:25-26

“For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ; who will transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself.” (Paul) Philippians 3:20-21

“but we speak God’s wisdom in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God predestined before the ages to our glory; the wisdom which none of the rulers of this age has understood; for if they had understood it they would not have crucified the Lord of glory; but just as it is written,

“Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard,
And which have not entered the heart of man,
All that God has prepared for those who love Him.” 1 Cor. 2:7-9
